Frequently asked questions
Who should not undergo Naftalan treatment?
Oil baths are not used in acute inflammation, cancer, severe heart failure, pregnancy or blood disorders. The final decision is made by a doctor after the initial examination.
How long does a treatment course last?
Usually 10–14 days; for chronic and skin conditions a 21-day course is recommended. During this time you take 8–12 oil baths.
What is included in the price?
Accommodation, three meals a day, a doctor's examination and the basic treatment package (oil baths and the prescribed procedures).
Can I be treated in winter?
Yes. The sanatoriums are open all year; thanks to central heating, treatment is fully comfortable in winter too, and prices are lower in this period.
